Although challenging because of the small format and the sometimes limited choices for typography, designing book covers has been one of the studio's most enjoyable long-term projects. With each cover I strive to hit the proverbial "nail on the head" using manipulated and metaphoric imagery. The covers shown here use concepts that are not obvious depictions of the titles, but instead they are creative, thought-provoking works of design. By using dynamic typography, imagery, and color, the book's essence comes across with an immediate visual impact.
